Mass procedure information:

We are required to observe a 1/2 capacity rule and social distancing (about 6 feet apart)—with the exception of members of the same household.

There will be no books in the pews or printed music sheets.

Masks are recommended but not required.

If you’re wearing a mask, you will need to remove it before we give you Holy Communion, and if you wish to receive Communion in the hand, you will need to remove your gloves, if you are wearing any.

We will be giving Communion out at the rail only, until further notice. Please remember to social distance here, too. Members of the same household needn’t spread out. One priest will walk to the center of the church to distribute to those in the handicapped row.

Welcome to St. Louis Bertrand

We are a Catholic parish in Old Louisville under the care of the Dominican Order, Province of Saint Joseph. In communion with the Archdiocese, we serve people from all parts of the metropolitan area. What characterizes St. Louis Bertrand Parish is the partnership of the Dominicans who have been assigned here with the dedicated parishioners throughout our 154-years history.

The parish was founded in 1866 and the present-day English Gothic Church was dedicated in 1873.
