Novena prayers to be said at conclusion of the Rosary:

Say on Sunday
(First Sunday of Advent until Lent)
Same as Monday and Saturday

(Lent)
Same as Tuesday and Friday

(Easter to Advent)
Same as Wednesday and Sunday

Say Monday and Saturday

    O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, help me translate into my life the virtues so beautifully exemplified by you in the Joyful Mysteries.  By your love of purity at THE ANNUNCIATION whereby you did accept the divine maternity while preserving the vow of chastity, preserve me from the contagion of sin.  By your charity at THE VISITATION whereby John the Baptist was sanctified and joy was brought to the household of your cousin, Elizabeth, help me to show charity to my neighbor.  By the virtue of poverty that prevailed at the NATIVITY, teach me to have tender love for God's poor.  By the spirit of obedience to the law of God at THE PRESENTATION IN THE TEMPLE, assist me always to be a faithful child of our holy mother, the Church.  By your joy in THE FINDING OF JESUS among the doctors in the Temple, help me ever to seek true happiness in the Blessed Sacrament where Christ dwells with us.

Say Tuesday and Friday

    Keep me, O ever-blessed Mother, in conformity with the Divine Will as was your Son during   THE AGONY IN THE GARDEN when He said: "Not my will, but Thine be done."  When sin calls me away from God may I be mindful of THE SCOURGING.  Against the spirit of pride impress deeply upon me the memory of my Saviour and HIS CROWN OF THORNS.  When my feet are about to stray from the ways of wisdom remind me of THE CARRYING OF THE CROSS.  Let me never forget THE CRUCIFIXION when the dying Christ forgave His enemies, promised Paradise to a thief, and gave you to me as my Mother.

Say Wednesday and Sunday

    Give me, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, the courage and confidence that comes through THE RESURRECTION.  Help me always to look forward to the great hope of our holy religion given in THE ASCENSION.  Teach me to live in the spirit of the first Novena which you and the Apostles made in preparation for THE COMING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.  Inspire me with the glory of your ASSUMPTION and the joy which was yours when at THE CORONATION you were made Queen of heaven and earth.

Say Thursday

   Through your BAPTISM, Lord Jesus, make me more aware of your presence within me because of my own baptism. As at the WEDDING AT CANA, give me your mother's docility to say: "Do whatever He tells you." Encourage me always to PROCLAIM YOUR KINGDOM with whomever and wherever I am. Fill me with hope in knowing that your TRANSFIGURATION is a foretaste of our eternal glory. Let me be ever thankful for your INSTITUTION OF THE EUCHARIST, your most precious gift to your Church, your Body.

Say Every Day

O Blessed Mother with your Rosary in my hand I place my petitions in your care:

    Remember, O gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.  Inspired with this confidence I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.  To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful, O Mother of  the Word Incarnate!  Despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me.   Amen.
